Hi friends! It’s me, just checking…checking to see if anyone is out there, checking to see if I still remember how to tell stories, checking to see if I still know how to log in to the admin section of this blog. No. As a matter of fact, I do not. I am going to have to put in a call to my, um, blog boss. Website designer? Tech manager? HTML professional? None of this sounds right. Man behind the curtain. Let’s go with the man behind the curtain, but do actually pay attention to him because he’s a pretty cool guy! Hats off to the man behind the curtain for making my blog work! Someone has to run things like that and it ought to be someone who can find the login button.

Well, cheers, then, we found it. Now I have to think of what to say and I thought logging in was difficult enough! What can I say? How are we? It is so hard to focus these days. Perhaps it is my age not so much catching up with me as streaking past cackling madly, leaving me in the dust just hoping someday I will catch up with it, or perhaps not. Perhaps I’ll just let it win. I’ll stay here and rest a bit. We can touch base later. Or perhaps it is the fact that a very short little blessing just ran out of the room wearing one of my more unmentionable articles of clothing over his otherwise manly plaid sweatshirt, also cackling madly, and I know there’s no chance at all I will catch up with him. Apologies to all neighbors, both monastic and miscellaneous. The job description was vague when I signed up for this.
