An event of some moment has taken place in the Pickwickian domicile. A new little Pickwick has joined the ranks and Fr Pickwick finds in this new recruit not another lovely young lady, but rather an ally for himself and possibly even a bass. Well, in a few years.

The Pickwicks find themselves rather puzzled, as tiny humans have always come in more feminine packaging according to the annals of Pickwickian family history. However, it is a pleasant sort of puzzlement, and has also led to the promotion of Baby Pickwick into the much-coveted position of “elder sister” (being defined as a miniature mother, and endowed with all the privileges and authority one would expect in a seasoned matriarch, at least until naptime). Baby P had long been bumping into a glass ceiling in her previous role and is delighted to have finally broken through, showering the family in as much shattered glass as possible in the process. The truth is she has been extremely Busy for a while, and it is about time to honor those accomplishments.
